when & why pet sim x was such a great game
When Pet Simulator X was one of the Best games on Roblox
Pet Simulator X – it is a game that everybody loved at the time when it hadn’t been RUINED yet. Personally, I loved it at the time, but of course ‘Big Games’ found a way to destroy it. Anyway, more on that later – when was Pet Sim X in its prime?
So, in the year of 2023, it began to grow rapidly – especially in late 2023. This is when it skyrocketed high in the leaderboard of ‘Most Played Games’ on Roblox, due to its vast amount of players that played on a daily basis.
Why Pet Simulator X was such a great game
Now there are a lot of reasons why everybody loved this game, but I think that it was a very good opportunity to have fun and play with people – maybe even have a flex battle with your pets! Oh, the good old days of Roblox…
Something that just gives me nostalgia with this game is AFKing for hours trying to get huges and titanics – one key time period when this was the thing to do everyday was Christmas 2023 – I remember opening eggs everyday, 24/7!

what happened to the game and why
What actually happened to Pet Simulator X?
Oh I don’t want to even talk about it. I remember, around mid 2024, being sad that Pet Sim X wasn’t ever going to be updated again. This was due to another HORRIFIC game being released instead of updating Pet Sim X further.
This game was called Pet Simulator 99. Yes. 99. Big Games replaced it with a new game with 99 in it – like WHAT?! Then after that, Big Games went even further – and they released ANOTHER game (even worse) called Pets GO! And it is terrible.
And why did this happen?
So I think Big Games decided to ruin their Pet Simulator collection because players from Pet Sim X had many complaints about the Robux eggs costing WAY too much, and the chances to get good pets being incredibly low.
At the time, and still today, the owner of Big Games, Preston, stole/steals all of our Robux – I remember buying loads of Robux eggs/promotions to just get nothing good. Now this is why their Pet Simulators have always been called ‘Pay To Win’.
