What is actually good about Dead Rails?
Dead Rails – it is a game which many hate and many love – you have to pick one of them. It’s a bit like Marmite – some think it’s terrible, and some think it’s the nicest spread in the world! Anyway, this game is (in my opinion) fun and is very challenging.
Some reasons for this are that it is very hard not to get swarmed by zombies and you have to kill every single one with only a gun or shovel! Although it is challenging, like I previously said, it makes the game more fun.
But, what is bad about Dead Rails?
Now this is the part where the haters come in – and although I am not one of them, I have my opinions – to begin with there are a LOT of glitches which make some people very angry at the game! Some of these glitches involve:
- Their money disappearing through the roof/ground.
- Their train stops moving while they have loads of enemies running at them.
- Their guns not shooting.
- Not being able to move at all when being attacked by a bunch of zombies.
- And more…
Does the game deserve the controversy – or is it actually good?
What the People think:
One of the reasons why people enjoy playing Dead Rails because it is a very viral and popular game at the time of writing (May 2025) and is hyped across all social media platforms. A lot of people say that it is a fun way to be challenged by eliminating mobs.
This game has many qualities that are liked, but some people have their doubts. Most criticisms are based on lag or in game glitches, whereas some hate how much grinding you need to do to get enough of the game’s currency.
What I think:
Well, I think it is very well made (apart from some glitches and bugs) and it brings back a very original feel within Roblox, due to the fact that its graphics are simple and most enemies don’t have any walking animations at all.
Overall – some may disagree – but I think that Dead Rails does not deserve the controversy. This is as everybody should enjoy the game as it has got qualities like good engagement with friends and a mortal warfare theme.
